The new Back of the Digipak

We were totally unhappy with our previous digi-pak production, so we decide to start again at fresh.we decided to start with the back of the digi-pak instead. We used Photoshop to create this threshold effect, the effect deletes all the lighter parts of the image leaving the darker parts on a white background. We chose to create a multi-coloured back cover for our digi-pak because we wanted to create something visually interesting that would draw in our chosen audience. The cover consists of vivid colours and a white background which helped the image to stand out. For the cover we chose one image which we then duplicated a number of  times in different colours.

Just like typical digi-paks, the back covers usually have lists of the musics on the album listed on the back cover, we realized that this was missing so we decided to add it immediately.

The text did not really stand out on the background and it is unreadable, so i decided to make some important changes.

I deleted the centre row images on the background, so that the text will be on top of a plain white background which helps the the words on the digi-pak to be a lot more visible.

I noticed that the colours on the digi-pak was a little bit dull, to brighten it a bit more i inserted a red image which i then put over the dark purple image.

At this stage, i realized that a few this where missing such as: the logo,
copyright infringement, barcode and the website of the production company. We added all the things that was mising imediately.

At this stage i realized that some of the text where still unreadable so i moved the whole text up slight and a little bit to the left hand-side.
We were unhappy with the yellow coulor of the text, so we decided to change it to red because the red colour stood out alot more.

This is the final production of the backcover of the digi-pak
